Do you remember these folks? My brother Brian and his lovely wife, Melanie, who moved to Boston five and a half years ago?
Well, they had the audacity to go and have a baby back in October. So, okay, the only bad thing about that is that they still live in Boston. That hopefully won’t always be the case, but for now my only nephew and his parents live on the east coast.
Of course, none of that matters right now, because ten-week-old Owen Emmanuel and his parents are visiting Oregon.
How do I feel about being an aunt? Pretty awesome. I mean, just look at that face. That little baby face is related to me? Impossible. But so wonderful.
